I can only speak about my agent with My Townhome Realty - Cassandra Stone. "Candy" as I know her. I inherited my mom's home upon her death. Candy came to that home, did a walk through and made good suggestions on what needed to be done before putting it on the market. Candy had wonderful photos made of the home and a brochure she placed inside and outside the home. Whenever she showed the home she would provide me with feedback on what the client liked or did not like. She kept me up to date on what was selling in the area and how much they sold for. When we had an offer on the house, Candy met me late that evening to go over the contract so she could get the contract back to the other Sales Agent by 8:00 a.m. the next day. (when the offer expired). I know she did not get home until after 10:00 p.m. that night. She called me the next morning and said we have a contract. I cannot adequately express how much Candy's help has been throughout this process.
I would strongly recommend Candy as both a person and as a professional. She has a warm and up-beat personality which puts everyone at ease. She is extremely knowledgeable and does her preparation diligently and thoroughly. She helps the seller prepare their house physically and emotionally and she has a small army of plumbers, painters and cleaners, etc. who are also knowledgeable, if needed. She is also very honest and clever and is very helpful with the paperwork. Candy's skills and personality make the buyer feel relaxed and makes the seller feel they are in control. Along with her other attributes, she is a good person and does a large amount of charity work for her church and her neighbors. Cassandra Candy Stone is a full-time agent in the real estate industry, dedicating her career to helping clients find their perfect home. Her passion for real estate was instilled in her from an early age, as both her father and mother were influential figures in the industry. It was her Dad who suggested she obtain her real estate license at the age of 17, making Cassandra one of the youngest realtors in the state.

Cassandra worked in a small town in Eastern North Carolina learning a great foundation in the business and then she moved to Charleston SC where she acquired her SC Broker license. She worked with Coldwell Banker O’Shaugnessy and Prudential Carolina Real Estate there. Since 2005, she moved back to her hometown of Charlotte and joined with My Townhome Realty as an associate, sharpening her expertise in selling, residential resales including condos and townhomes, new construction, and providing top-notch property management services.

Before entering real estate, Cassandra worked in radio and television broadcasting. She was a news reporter, a radio DJ, a sales and marketing professional and she performed as on-air promotional talent on television commercials for some of her top clients. She also worked in the modeling and film industry through her mom, Libby Stone who founded that business in 1955.

Her diverse skills and experience gained from news reporting, on air broadcasting, sales and marketing has certainly contributed to her long-term success in the industry. News reporting provides communication and research skills. On air broadcasting certainly has been helpful with giving property tours at Open Houses and Public Speaking abilities. Promoting listings, and negotiating deals for her clients are additionally some of the most important skillsets.
